Mapping Trent River

On March 6 & 7, BWS will be part of a collaboration lead by Arin Yeomans-Routledge of Astraea Consulting.  The goal is to obtain current location and morphology data on the Trent River, from shoreline to Hwy 19.  Volunteers will be out in chest waders walking the creek, noting creek bed geology, riparian status, salmon access and obstructions, and general terrain.  This information will be critical in understanding salmon access to spawning locations, and for interpreting the results of our surface water monitoring.
