Stream Sampling–All Streams

Our largest monitoring program involves sampling for water quality in 20 creeks, for 31 weeks each year. We have three teams, or ‘Pods” based in Bowser, Fanny Bay and Royston. The parameters that we measure include: air and water temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, specific conductivity, and turbidity. On most creeks we also have staff gauges to track water height. Bowser Pod
- Morning: Chef, Nile, Sandy, Thames, Nash (2 sites), Hunts, & Annie Creeks
Fanny Bay Pod
- Morning: Tsable, then upper sites on Cowie, Apple-Cherry, Wilfred, Waterloo, & Mud Bay Creeks
Royston Pod
- Morning: Trent R, Bloedel, Hart, Hindoo, Emily, Spense & Beacon Creeks
